It was reaching the 6th position on the UK Singles Charts and becoming a popular dance track in clubs across Europe. In 2003, “Saltwater” was used in a successful tourism campaign for Ireland.

Chicane (born 28 February 1971, Chalfont St Giles, Buckingamshire – England) is a British electronic dance music act and the guise of British musician, composer and record producer, Nicholas Bracegirdle. “The Chicane concept is one of a nomadic band which doesn’t conform to the traditional approach of having a single lead singer, working with many different artists and producers. It is a common mistake to think Nick is a DJ – he is actually the writer and producer within the band and the hub of all the live perfomances.”
